Film made from the product exhibits excellent mechanical strength at normal as well as low temperature, good sealing properties and superior ESCR. Borstar®FB1200 contains antioxidant.

PROCESSING CONDITIONS

Borstar®FB1200 can be processed in most types of blown film equipment such as LDPE, LLDPE or HDPE extruders. The balance of draw down properties and bubble stability is superior to conventional LLDPE and LDPE. Thickness of 10 to >2000mm can be processed with good bubble stability. The product is well suited for co-extrusion.

Recommended extrusion temperature is 190 - 210°C. A die gap of 1.0 - 1.8 mm will give the best balance between extruder pressure and physical properties in the film. Wider die gap gives higher machine direction orientation.

Borstar®FB1200 provides excellent mechanical properties balance by optimizing film processing parameters like Blow up ratio (BUR) and Frost Line Height (FLH). Higher impact strength can be achieved by raising the FLH. High BUR (>2) also results in improved mechanical properties.

STORAGE

This product should be stored in dry conditions at temperature bellow 50°C and protected from UV-light. Improper storage can initiate degradation, which results in odour generation and colour changes and can have negative effects on physical properties of this product. Product Characteristics:

Polysure E0725L is a 1-butene comonomer based Linear Low Density Polyethylene, produced by Gas Phase – UNIPOLTM PE technology and primarily suitable for Extrusion Coating process. E0725L offers Low Neck-in & Superior Adhesion with the substrates in high line speed applications.

Recommended Applications:

Extrusion Coating on HDPE Woven Fabrics, Jute, Aluminum foil, Paper & Allied Substrates.

Processing Guidelines:

• Barrel Temperature : 180 - 230°C

• Die Temperature : 190 - 240

Storage & Handling:

Bags should be stored in dry & dust free environment at temperature below 50°C and Prevent from direct exposure to sunlight & heat to avoid quality deterioration.

Regulatory Requirements:

E0725L to be manufactured complying the requirements specified in IS 10146 on “Specification for Polyethylene for its safe in contact with Foodstuff, Pharmaceutical & Drinking water”. Furthermore, the Additives added in this grade formulation compiles to the “Positive list of constituents for Polypropylene, Polyethylene and their Copolymers for its safe use in contact with Foodstuffs & Pharmaceuticals' as laid down under IS 16738:2018. In general, the additives & constituents used in the grade are in line with requirement laid down under FDA: CFR Title 21,177.1520, Olefin Polymers.

SAFETY

The product is not classified as a hazardous mixture.

Dust and fines from the product carry a risk of dust explosion. All equipment should be properly earthed. Inhalation of dust should be avoided as it may cause irritation of the respiratory system. Small amounts of fumes are generated during processing of the product. Proper ventilation is therefore required. A Safety Information Sheet is available on request. Please contact your Borouge representative for more details on various aspects of safety, recovery and disposal of the product

RECYCLING

The product is suitable for recycling using modern methods of shredding and cleaning. In-house production waste should be kept clean to facilitate direct recycling

Exceed 1018MMK resin is an ethylene 1-hexene copolymer. Films made from exceed 1018MK resin have outstanding tensile, impact strength and puncture. SABIC® LLDPE M500026 is a high flow linear low density polyethylene copolymer grade with a narrow molecular weight distribution

Application

SABIC® LLDPE M500026 resin is recommended for injection moulding masterbatch where a high filler acceptance is required, combined with a good flow.

Processing conditions

Typical moulding conditions for SABIC® LLDPE M500026 are: material temperature 180 - 230 °C (355 - 450 °F).

Mechanical properties

Test specimen is prepared from compression moulded sheet made according to ASTM D-1928, procedure C.

General information. SABIC® LLDPE grades are available in a wide range of viscosities. Supplementary to this, various grades are also available in powder form. This unique combination makes SABIC® LLDPE grades extremely suitable for masterbatch and compounding applications. The SABIC® LLDPE portfolio offers an excellent choice to find a good base resin for both additives, black, white and colour masterbatches, with varying amounts of additives and pigments.

Storage and handling. Polyethylenes resins (in pelletised or powder form) should be stored in such a way that it prevents exposure to direct sunlight and/or heat, as this may lead to quality deterioration. The storage location should also be dry, dust free and the ambient temperature should not exceed 50 °C. Not complying with these precautionary measures can lead to a degradation of the product which can result in colour changes, bad smell and inadequate product performance. It is also advisable to process polyethylene resins (in pelletised or powder form) within 6 months after delivery, this because also excessive aging of polyethylene can lead to a deterioration in qualit

This is a butene based Linear Low Density Polyethylene grade with Optimum level of Antioxidants. This grade does not contain any slip or antiblock, designed for good processing on Blown & Cast Film lines with excellent balance of mechanical & optical properties.

APPLICATIONS:

Blown & Cast film for Industrial Packaging, Stretch Wrap, Cling film for food or hygiene packaging, Bubble Wrap, Protective Packaging and Lamination film.

Typical Process Conditions for Cast film:

• Typical Process Temp (˚C) - 180 – 240

• Die Gap – 0.7 -1.5 mm

Regulatory Information

• Meets the requirements stipulated in standard IS: I0146 on "Specification for Polyethylene for safe use in contact with foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, and drinking water". It also conforms to IS 16738:2018 “Positive List of Constituents for Polypropylene, Polyethylene and their Copolymers for its Safe Use in Contact with Foodstuffs and Pharmaceuticals”

Polysure R0536L is a 1-butene comonomer based Linear Low Density Polyethylene, produced by Gas Phase – UNIPOLTM PE technology and primarily suitable for Roto molding process. R0536L offers low sintering time, good ESCR and very good stiffness-impact balance. It is recommended to incorporate optimum level of Carbon black or long-term UV stabilizer during processing of R0536L for withstanding continuous outdoor exposer.
