RE420MO is a versatile designed transparent polypropylene random ethylene copolymer with medium melt flow rate intended for injection moulding and injection stretch blow moulding

RE420MO is suitable for high speed injection moulding due to clarification and excellent demoulding properties. Articles originating from this product have excellent transparency, good organoleptic properties, good balance of stiffness and impact strength at ambient and refrigerator temperatures, low blooming, good denesting performance and excellent hinge properties.

PROCESSING TECHNIQUES

RE420MO is easy to process with standard injection moulding machines and injection stretch

blow moulding machines.

Following parameters should be used as guidelines:

Melt temperature 220 - 260 °C

Holding pressure 200 - 500 bar

Mould temperature 30 - 40 °C

Injection speed High

Shrinkage 1 - 2 %, depending on wall thickness and moulding parameters

PROCESSING CONDITIONS

RE425MO is easy to process with standard injection moulding -and injection stress blow moulding machines.

Following parameters should be used as guidelines:

Melt temperature: 220 - 260°C

Holding pressure: 200 - 500bar

Mould temperature: 30 - 40°C

Injection speed: High

Shrinkage 1 - 2%, depending on wall thickness and moulding parameters

STORAGE

RE425MO should be stored in dry conditions at temperatures below 50°C and protected from UV-light. Improper storage can initiate degradation, which results in odour generation and colour changes and can have negative effects on the physical properties of this product.

RJ768MO is a high MFR transparent polypropylene random ethylene copolymer based on proprietary Borstar Nucleation Technology (BNT), with an excellent organoleptic performance, Additivation has been enhanced to provide good antistatic properties, without blooming or plate-out, and with optimized molecular weight distribution giving low warpage. Products produced from this product have excellent transparency, gloss and fast crystallization speed which offers high productivity in production of transparent food packaging products.

RJ768MO is designed for high-speed injection moulding and contains nucleating and de-moulding additives.

PROCESSING CONDITIONS

• RJ768MO is easy to process with standard injection moulding machines
• Following parameters should be used as guidelines:
• Melt temperature: 220 - 250°C
• Holding pressure: 200 - 500bar As required to avoid sink marks.
• Mould temperature: 15 - 40°C
• Injection speed: As high as possible
• Shrinkage 1 - 2%, depending on wall thickness and moulding parameters

Borstar® RA140E is a BNT Nucleated high molecular weight, low melt flow rate polypropylene random copolymer (PP-R) natural colored.

APPLICATIONS

Borstar® RA140E together with the appropriate additive package is recommended for the production of PP-R pipes and fittings used in: Heating, Plumbing, Domestic water, Relining, and Industrial applications

SPECIFICATIONS

Borstar® RA140E is intended to fulfill the following standards and regulations, providing the appropriate industrial manufacturing standard procedures are used and a continuous quality system is implemented: DIN 8078, DIN 8077 and EN ISO 15874

SPECIAL FEATURES

Borstar® RA140E is a natural grade used for production of pipes and fittings. The material is in pellet form and includes selected additive package which ensure:

Repol SRX100 is recommended for Injection Moulding and Stretch Blow Moulding process. It is an ideal material for Ultra high clarity containers, houseware, ISBM products and appliance parts. The grade contain clarifier and antistatic agent.

Regulatory Information

Meets the requirements stipulated in IS 10910 on “Specification for Polypropylene and its copolymers for safe use in contact with foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, and drinking water”. Additives ncorporated in this grade conform to the positive list of constituents as prescribed in IS 10909. The grade and the additives incorporated in it also comply with the FDA:CFR Title 21,177.1520, Olefin polymers.
